When Joseph Arduino’s father fell ill and eventually passed away from congestive heart failure in the late 1990s, his family was introduced to the senior home care industry.  As the illness progressed and Joe witnessed the compassionate care of hospice caregivers, his life was forever changed.  

In 1999 Joe & his wife Michele fulfilled their dream of helping others – they opened a Visiting Angels office in Western MA with just one caregiver and one client.  Slowly but surely, the business grew thanks to remarkable seniors, exceptional caregivers, and strong working relationships with local health care organizations.  In just under a decade, Visiting Angels caregivers have helped more than 700 seniors in Hampshire and Hampden counties. 

With sister offices in Westfield and Springfield, Visiting Angels is uniquely positioned to serve seniors from “both sides of the Connecticut River.” As a fully licensed, insured, and bonded agency, you can be assured that we have thoroughly researched the experience and character of our caregivers. Our nurse will also to perform a full needs assessment at the outset; then continue close involvement to monitor and respond to each client’s changing needs.

If you or your aging parents need assistance with activities of daily life, we can help.  Our carefully screened and experienced caregivers can help with personal care services like bathing and dressing, time-sensitive tasks like meal preparation and medication reminders, as well as housekeeping, transportation and a senior favorite – simple companionship.
